Everyday Foods Before They're Harvested

Pomegranate

These intriguing fruits used to be linked to royalty, and they still have a certain appeal that can't be denied. These brilliant red fruits have sweet, juicy seeds within that can be eaten as is or added to soups, salads, or desserts. They don't have their beautiful red color yet when they are young, so they look more like an apple with a strange form than a pomegranate.

As time goes on, the fruit changes color, and when they are ripe, they look like little lanterns hanging from a tree.

Mango

People all throughout the world adore mangoes because they are sweet, juicy, and tasty. It's easy to spot them in a store because of their color and shape, but it's not as easy to detect them in the wild. That's because they only get their famous color and form when they're almost ready to be picked. When mangoes are young, they are spherical and dark green or purple. They are also very strong.

Some types of mangoes stay very little, green, and hard even when they are ready to be picked. These taste better when they are thinly sliced and added to salads or pickled.

Camellia

People who consume tea will know how good camellia tea tastes with flowers. Because it is good for your health and makes you feel better, the flower has become highly popular. Many people think that camellia blossoms are the same as hibiscus flowers, which are also used to produce tea. However, camellia flowers are lighter in color, and the tea prepared from them is much stronger in flavor. The camellia plant doesn't need much care and grows swiftly.

It could be hard to find camellias in the wild because they are made up of a little white blossom with many yellow stigmas. You might assume they're simply another gorgeous bloom if you don't know what to look for.

Walnut

Many people think that walnuts are the best nuts since they taste great and can be used in so many ways. You can eat them as they are or use them in salads, pastries, or curries. Walnuts are an excellent snack to take with you because they are full of Omega 3s and antioxidants. People who love nuts might readily discover this nut in the nut aisle, but they might not know how to find it on a plantation. A walnut grows inside a special hard shell that protects it safe. Because it already has a hard shell, it's acceptable to assume that the nut grows inside two hard shells.

When the nut is ready, the green outer shell will crack open, showing the walnut inside. You can now take out the nut and eat it.
