Rules Duchess Kate Middleton Has to Follow

If the Princess of Wales Has Any Children, They Must Be Baptized

There are many parts of royal life that they can't control. For instance, every Royal family member's child must be baptized. To go even further, everyone in the Royal family, even those who marry into the family, must be baptized. Kate Middleton also had to make sure that the Archbishop of Canterbury baptized her kids.

The baptism ceremonies are also usually very public and are shared with the whole country and the world. Some people think it's almost as important as royal weddings.

No One Can Borrow the Duchess' Tiara

People seem to talk a lot about tiaras when it comes to royals. You might not think it's this important, but it really is. Every married royal woman has her own tiara, and she can't wear anyone else's or lend it to anyone else. They are all very different, so everyone would know if they switchedsparred for a day.

The tiara is like a crown, but it's for people in the Royal family who aren't as important. It makes sense that no one else can wear their "crown."

She Must Always Wear Pantyhose

When it comes to what the Royal family wears, it looks like skirts or dresses and heels are pretty common. But you will never see a woman in the Royal family, especially Kate, wearing a skirt without pantyhose. Because these outfits are often worn with high heels, they can be slippery and uncomfortable when worn together. But Kate has thought of a way to fix this.

Kate seems to wear little heel pads that stick to her shoes to keep her feet from slipping around when she walks.

Kate Needs to Be Modest at All Times

You may not fully understand how important modesty is for the Royal family, but these examples might help you understand better. The way she sits, for instance, is very important. She can't cross her legs around her thighs, but they have to stay together all the time. That means she has to sit with her thighs together and her legs bent at an angle.

It's funny how Prince William can sit however he wants, but Kate can't. Compared to Kate's position, his legs are pretty far apart.

Be Careful With the Throne

It's probably not too surprising that who sits on the royal thrones is very important. It might be surprising that the Queen and King can't sit on each other's thrones. There is no room for error when it comes to this: everyone must sit on the throne that was made for them.

That means that Kate Middleton, who is the Princess of Wales, couldn't sit on any of the thrones even if she wanted to.

She Must Prevent Fashion Faux-Pas

Not only do you have to deal with the stress of being a member of the Royal family, where everyone watches and judges everything you do, but you also have to deal with the fact that the whole world is always judging your fashion choices. This picture was taken at one of their most famous mistakes. They were on vacation in the Solomon Islands and wore Cook Islands clothes to dinner by accident.

Kate made a whole system of color coordination after this happened to make sure it wouldn't happen again.
